Different Cold Storage facility might have different maintenance required and we will customise our service based on individual client. Common service includes:
1. To check with operator for any known or current deficiencies
2. To check door gaskets for proper sealing and adjust door latch and hinges if necessary
3. To check and adjust thermostat
4. To check safety devices for proper operation
5. To check compressor and condenser for proper operation
6. To check operation of defrost
7. To check heating cable, defrost water out.
8. Visually check for refrigerant level, water/moisture indication and oil leaks
9. Look into Suction and discharge pressure
10. Check motor and motor bearings for overheating
11. Lubricate moving parts if necessary
12. Blow down condenser coils and fan with compressed air if choked
13. Hand clean compressor and condenser with cloth if necessary
14. Inspect evaporator for dirt and /or ice buildup
15. Clean and lubricate evaporator fan and motor if necessary
16. Inspect evaporator drain for proper operation
17. Check refrigerant piping for damaged or missing insulation
18. Inspect electrical starter panel and controls – check for loose contacts, burned insulation
and loose connections
19. Check and test fault alarm system, hi-temp and auto switch over
20. Report deficiencies for corrective action plan
